Getting started

How to use ZA Transfer

ZA Transfer is a collaborative workspace for South African property transfers. Each party — attorney, agent, buyer, seller, inspector, contractor — works in the same transaction with their own permissions and audit trail. Here's how to get going.

1. Create your account

Register on the landing page using email/password or Continue with Google. You'll land in your personal dashboard.

2. Complete FICA onboarding

Upload your ID, proof of address, tax number and marital status documents into the secure vault. These are reused across every transaction.

3. Add a property

Capture the property by its Surveyor-General 21-digit site identifier. The map will anchor the cadastral boundary automatically.

4. Open a transaction

Create a transaction, invite the buyer, seller, agent, attorney, inspector and contractors. Each party signs in to their own role-scoped view.

5. Generate & sign documents

OTP, Section 67, Power of Attorney, asset list and SARS TDC01 are pre-populated from your profile. Download, wet-ink sign, scan and re-upload.

6. Track to lodgement

Follow the Gantt and reports view through COCs (electrical, gas, fence, solar), bank guarantee, rates clearance and finally Deeds Office lodgement.
